Junior Tournaments 2008

The KPGA P.J. Boatwright Challenge Cup, initiated in 1991 has provided competitive opportunities for junior golfers at over 210 public courses throughout the state. The 17th Annual Statewide Final will be held on Monday, July 28, 2008 at The Greens of Greenville, Greenville, PA.

Tournament Director
A KPGA Tournament Director will be present at each tournament site and shall have complete authority over all activities including tee times, pairings, etiquette, pace of play, and determining rules and winners. Please call your tournament director for tee times.

The 7th Annual Bi-State Championship Ohio vs. Pennsylvania

Grove City Country Club, Grove City, PA

Eligibility: Each team will consist of 16 of the finest quality players from their respective states. Each team will be comprised of 10 boys and 6 girls all being 18 years of age or younger. To be eligible for either team a player must have competed in at least one of their Junior Golf Series tournaments. After that, the selection of the team will be strictly up to each of the states selection committees.

Format: The championship will be conducted over a course of two days, with 36 holes being played on day one and 18 holes being played on day two.
